ABOUT
The Towson High School Environmental Club is committed to bettering our planet, starting here in our very community. Our club is a dynamic group of student advocators and educators committed to the school community, local environment, and beyond. Within the club you are sure to find an environmental initiative that piques your interest, through the exploration of our available committees!

If you have an idea for an environment-centered initiative you are passionate about, feel free to pitch it at the next meeting. We are always open to new ideas to help our environment!
In 2021, the club won Towson High School the BCPS Green-60 competition (submissions organized by Julie G., '22 and Miriam D., '23). The club also helped earn BCPS Green School Certification for THS. The club hosts meetings every other Tuesday (calendar page has the most up to date times) where a multitude of environmental subjects are discussed and engaging activities are organized. The club also hosts campus clean ups where members put aside time to pick up litter around the Towson High campus and area.

Georgia is in the class of 2024 and one of the Co-Presidents for the 2023-24 school year! She loves the greenhouse and the tomato garden at Towson. Outside of school, Georgia loves to cook and garden. She's made lots of food with vegetables from her garden, including a spicy tomato sauce. She loves all of her plants so it's hard to pick a favorite, but if she had to choose it would be either her lemon or mango tree, both of which she grew from a seed.
