Towson High's Environmental Club has various committees that tackle issues, start initiatives, care for the campus, advocate... the projects are endlessly diverse, but all summarized here!
Recycling
Led by Ana and Selah, this committee collects recycling from all THS classrooms afterschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The recycling committee hopes to increase recycling at THS. To help out, scan this QR code to sign up to recycle:
Composting
The Composting Committee, led by our Compost Coordinator Weston, works to oversee and increase Towson's compost production and spread awareness about composting at Towson. Sign up to Compost here:
Greenhouse
The Greenhouse Committee, led by our Greenhouse coordinators Josie and Ryan, maintains the outside and inside of Towson High's greenhouse, and also manages the plants and tools that call it home.
Outreach & Events
Our Outreach team managed by Safora, publishes blogs for the website and participates/leads community initiatives including Electrify BCPS, and any events that are planned by Birdie and Rainee, our event Coordinators
